You will find that fishing in the warm Mexican tropical waters is unique. If you are used to fishing off the coasts of Europe or America you will notice that the fish you will catch off our coasts are larger and colorful. These fish come up to the surface to enjoy the warm waters that are right off our coasts making Grupo Mayan resorts the perfect base for a deep sea fishing vacation.
The Grupo Mayan water sports staff will reserve a charter boat for your deep sea fishing trip. While out in the ocean you will have the opportunity to fish for tuna, Blufin, Marlin, and many other types of delicious sporting fish. All of these fish are easy to find and your professional crew will take you to just the right spots where fish are schooling.
You may bring your own fishing equipment or you can use the deep sea fishing equipment provided by the professional charter boat. All charter boats come equipped with everything you will need for a successful fishing experience. The charter boat crew will also assist you with fishing if necessary.
When you board your charter boat it will have already been stocked with bait and with food and drinks for your party of fishermen. As soon as you board the charter boat captain and crew will set off for local fishing hot spots. Why waste time hanging around the dock? The captains and crews that the Grupo Mayan pros work with want you to enjoy an entire day of fishing, not an entire day of being on a boat.
You can also expect your charter boat to be comfortable. For fishing you will be provided with a tall chair that comes equipped with a belt for safety when reeling in a fish. You will also find that the crew has provided for your comfort in other ways. Inside the boat you will discover a small lounge and comfortable furniture. And, as mentioned before, you will have foods and drinks provided also.
When you return from your exciting day of fishing you can bring your catch back to the Grupo Mayan resort. Our gourmet chefs will skin and fillet your fish and cook them to your specifications. You will have an excellent meal of fresh fish, caught by you, many wonderful fish tales from you day on the water.
