The warm tropical water off the Grupo Mayan coasts attracts amazing fish from deep in the ocean. Our Grupo Mayan experts will be happy to help you schedule a deep sea fishing adventure. We will arrange for both a boat and guide to take you and your family or friends for a day of fabulous fishing. Tuna, sailfish, bluefin, swordfish, and marlin can all be found in abundance in the Mexican tropical ocean waters.
Your fishing guide, along with the captain and his crew, will be happy to see to your needs during your day of deep sea fishing. Bait and equipment will be provided and already loaded on the charter boat when you arrive the morning of your trip.
The guide and boat captain will be take you and your group to well known fishing waters where fish have been observed. With their knowledge you will be led right to large schools of fish ready to jump at your bait. If you have never been deep sea fishing before the crew will happily instruct you in the use of deep sea fishing rods and the other equipment involved with deep sea fishing. The crew will aid everyone in pulling in their catch if need; some of the fish off the Grupo Mayan coasts can be quite large and too much for one person to handle. For your comfort the charter boat will come equipped with pulley rests for your fishing rods to help you reel in your catch and high seats with belts to keep you from going overboard during your deep sea fishing trip.
The charter boat arranged by the Grupo Mayan resort for your deep sea fishing adventure will be a fabulous boat that is well maintained. There will be no worry of becoming stranded in the ocean waters. The Grupo Mayan resorts work with trained and licensed boat captains and professional crews. All of our guests who have been deep sea fishing during their time with us have been extremely pleased with the service they received while on the boat.
The crew will provide for meals and drinks and any other needs you might have. They will also have ice wells for the caught fish so they will keep until you return to land and your Grupo Mayan resort.
Upon returning to your Grupo Mayan resort you will be pleased to know that our award winning chefs will happily prepare your catch for your dinner. The fish can be prepared to your liking or you can let our chefs offer their own unique twists to the preparation of the dishes created from your catch.
